Remount Foundation provides equine-assisted therapeutic programs for active-duty military personnel, veterans of all eras, first responders, and their families. The organization centers its services on the Remount Method, a structured approach that combines equine-assisted philosophy sessions, biofeedback-based HeartMath exercises, and
family-focused Play Days. Its programs address trauma-related conditions such as post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury through guided horse-human interactions and resilience-building activities. Participants engage in individualized and group work with trained volunteers and peer mentors who support emotional regulation and reconnection with family and community. Remount Foundation also partners with community groups and clinical providers to offer specialized sessions for military-related support groups and trauma-focused cohorts. All services are designed to help participants develop practical tools for managing stress, improving relationships, and sustaining long-term mental wellness.
