War Child UK works to protect, educate, and support children affected by armed conflict. It delivers psychological and mental health services, emergency assistance, safe learning environments, and child protection programs in countries experiencing violence, displacement, or instability. The organization provides education via catch-up literacy and
numeracy programs, supports teachers under crisis to maintain safe learning spaces, and helps children recover through trauma-informed psychosocial interventions. It also runs advocacy campaigns, partnerships, and fundraising efforts to ensure children’s rights are respected and to shape policy responses to conflict situations. War Child aims to respond quickly when conflict arises—and stay long-term to help children heal and rebuild their lives.
