VON Canada provides home and community-based health services focused on clinical, personal and social support. The organization delivers nursing care, personal support and therapy services in clients’ homes and in local community clinics. VON Canada offers home care and in-home support for daily living, along with respite and practical assistance
for family caregivers. It provides hospice and palliative care services, as well as bereavement support for individuals and families. The organization also runs adult day programs, group exercise classes and other social connection programs that help people stay active and engaged. Services are delivered by nurses, personal support workers, therapists and other health-care providers in partnership with community agencies.
