Voices Dance Project is a non-profit dance collective that centers dancers in the artistic creation process. The organization offers a creative space for independent dancers to explore choreography and expression across ballet, modern, contemporary, indigenous, and traditional dance styles. It enables dancers to workshop new choreographic works,
reflect on existing dance structures, and train and perform on stage or in multimedia productions. Voices Dance Project provides performance platforms for artists of diverse bodies, ages, socioeconomic backgrounds, ethnicities, genders, and sexual identities. It also hosts monthly workshops that offer affordable dance training and dance-related programming to the general public. In addition, the collective performs at events and collaborates with other arts organizations and ensembles.
