Vision Urbana operates as a nonprofit community organization providing services to low-income seniors, families, and at-risk youth. The organization runs programs such as the Healthy Living Initiative with health forums and case assistance, a Senior Center NORC model supporting aging in place, and a food pantry that offers client-choice and
home-delivered groceries and hot meals. Vision Urbana also provides youth mentorship, intergenerational activities, and a digital literacy program and virtual digital labs for older adults and other residents to build computer and smartphone skills. Additional activities include social support groups, cultural and art workshops, and partnerships with health agencies and tenant associations to address health disparities and food insecurity.
