Raymond E. Stewart, professionally known as Veteran Stew, is a retired aerospace engineer, military combat veteran, and accomplished songwriter whose life reflects discipline, service, and creative excellence. A graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Raymond built a distinguished engineering career working with some of America’s most
respected organizations, including Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Bell Helicopter, and Deloitte. He currently serves as a Quality Control Engineer with Propell U.S. in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Before his engineering achievements, Raymond proudly served in both the United States Army and the United States Air Force, including combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. His military experience shaped the resilience, leadership, and dedication that define both his professional and artistic journey. Music has been a lifelong passion for over five decades. Performing under the name Veteran Stew, Raymond has written and composed across a wide range of genres. While his primary focus is Country music, his catalog also spans Worship, Indie Pop, Goth Rock, Rap, Dance, EDM, Techno, Industrial, Pop, Rock, Blues, and R&B. A skilled multi-instrumentalist, he plays guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums, and began his musical journey as a trumpet player in his youth. With more than 100 original songs released, he is now focused on transforming his lifelong passion into a meaningful and profitable creative legacy. Driven by purpose and authenticity, Veteran Stew continues to create music that reflects his life experiences, values, and artistic depth.
