The Rewildings works to restore natural ecosystems by reducing human intervention and creating conservation-focused communities. It develops residential areas where forests and wildlife are given space to grow. In Tigoni, the project extends the local forest and supports a community that protects the land and its species. The master plan includes a
small number of houses along a single road, with shared spaces like forest paths, glades, terraces, and tea strips. The houses are built to fit the land and climate, using low-carbon and natural materials, with spaces that allow light and air inside. BuildX Studio designs and constructs the buildings, focusing on low-carbon natural building methods. Other collaborators contribute to the forest planting and project management.
