The organization provides short-term unpaid fellowships that immerse active-duty service members in civilian companies while they remain on military pay. Mandatum works with host organizations through a structured
process that includes role definition, candidate matching, and a memorandum of understanding outlining expectations. It offers one-on-one executive coaching, mentoring, and assistance with resumes and LinkedIn profiles to help Fellows translate their military experience into clear career paths. The Mandatum Transition Team collaborates with corporate partners and allied nonprofits to expand career exposure and professional networks. Through these programs, The Mandatum Foundation helps Fellows gain practical experience, evaluate potential roles, and prepare for purposeful civilian employment.
