The Lovibond Project runs internship and industry partnership programs that prepare People of Color for careers in the craft beer industry. The organization offers an eight-week Lovibond Internship that combines four weeks of rotational instruction with four weeks of a collaboration beer project. Interns receive hands-on training in production and
packaging, front of house work, sales and distribution, and marketing, taxes, and administration. During the project phase, interns help design and brew a collaboration beer, develop branding and label concepts, plan distribution, and support a release event. The Lovibond Project also works with host breweries that provide training, mentorship, and project supervision, and it organizes fundraising events to support future internship cohorts and related initiatives.
