The Kite Trust supports LGBTQ+ young people through youth work programmes that include free one-to-one support, social groups, residentials and campaigns focused on wellbeing and creativity. The organisation provides information, advice and signposting to help young people access appropriate mental health, education and community resources. It
develops and delivers training, consultancy and workshops for schools, colleges, families, professionals and organisations to improve LGBTQ+ inclusion and tackle hate-based bullying. The Kite Trust leads and partners on projects such as Turning the Tide and the Rainbow Flag Award delivery to strengthen inclusive practice in youth and education settings. Its work also includes youth panels, events and campaigns that amplify LGBTQ+ young people’s voices in policy and service design.
