Company Performance Metrics
The Heimerdinger Foundation provides organic, nutrient-dense meals and nutrition education to people facing cancer and their caregivers. The organization operates the Meals for Health and Healing program, which prepares and delivers plant-forward, gluten-free, anti-inflammatory meals tailored to the needs of individuals in active cancer treatment
and their in-home caregivers. It pairs each weekly meal delivery with food cards and guidance that explain the health benefits of key ingredients and offer practical support for healthier eating. The Heimerdinger Foundation also offers classes, cooking demonstrations, workshops, and internships that teach nutrition, cooking skills, and the concept of food as medicine. Through its Healing Kitchen, Giving Garden, and structured teen and adult volunteer programs, it turns gardening, cooking, and delivery into hands-on learning and service experiences that support clients during a health crisis. The foundation further collaborates with cancer care providers and community partners to extend its nutrition education and meal support model.
