The Expansive Group provides queer-centered, anti-oppressive therapy and coaching focused on gender, sexuality, relationships, and mental health. The organization offers individual and relationship therapy, sex therapy, and coaching delivered online and in person, as well as group therapy and low-cost support groups. Its clinicians use approaches
such as internal family systems, EMDR, somatic and trauma-informed modalities to support clients with identity exploration, trauma, anxiety, depression, and non-traditional relationship structures. The Expansive Group also develops and delivers corporate and institutional education, including professional trainings and AASECT continuing education on gender, sexuality, and identity concepts for clinicians, companies, and universities. In addition, it produces digital educational content and a blog that covers topics related to sex, mental health, queer identities, and relationships.
