The Disabled CoLab is a non-profit organization that creates disability community spaces and amplifies the voices of disabled people in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and other academic fields. It organizes the Ontario Summit for Students with Disabilities, a virtual event series where disabled postsecondary students share
experiences, join panels, and participate in moderated discussions. The organization publishes Stories of STEM with Disabilities, a visibility project that profiles scientists, engineers, technologists, and mathematicians with disabilities. The Disabled CoLab develops and distributes community research reports based on summit discussions and story submissions to inform accessibility and disability inclusion in postsecondary education. It also curates accessibility resources, including supports for students and for STEM participation, tools for STEM access, and a wishlist to guide institutions and partners in improving access.
