The Cornerstone Project develops a new generation of civic leaders through year-round organizing, voter registration, civic education, and leadership development programs. The organization focuses on youth civic engagement, training students to run non-partisan voter registration drives and support their peers with polling information and voter ID
guidance. Its Cornerstone Organizing Fellowship provides college students with hands-on campus organizing experience and a peer-to-peer outreach model. The Cornerstone Leadership Development Series is a semester-long advanced track for fellows who complete the organizing program, deepening their understanding of Texas government, public policy, and leadership. Through these fellowships and related initiatives, The Cornerstone Project prepares young people for careers in government, advocacy, and public service.
