The Collings Foundation is a non-profit educational organization that preserves and exhibits historic military aircraft, vehicles, and related artifacts. It organizes and supports living history events that present military history through direct public participation. The Foundation operates programs such as the American Heritage Museum with large
artifact displays and themed exhibits. It maintains and flies collections of World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War aircraft, and offers flight training programs for qualified pilots in aircraft such as the TA-4 Skyhawk, Me-262, and F-4 Phantom. The Collings Foundation also runs national touring exhibits and makes select aircraft available for viewing at events. An online store provides books and history-themed merchandise to support its educational programs and restorations.
