The Circular Mindset CIC promotes practical, community-led circular economy projects that reduce waste and support local people. The organisation designs and runs initiatives such as Cup Club Bude, a town-wide returnable takeaway cup scheme for cafes and their customers. Through this scheme, it supplies reusable cups, manages a deposit-based borrow
and return system, and coordinates washing and reuse through participating venues. The Circular Mindset CIC also provides training, signage, and communications support to help independent cafes integrate reuse into daily operations. In addition, it produces articles and resources on sustainable hospitality, responsible tourism, and circular systems tailored to the local visitor economy. All activities are structured as a community interest company, with profits reinvested into further community projects.
