The ChariTree Foundation develops and funds nature-based climate and biodiversity education programs for children and youth. It supports school and summer camp initiatives such as outdoor classrooms, tree planting projects, beach cleanups, and other outdoor learning activities. The organization runs the A Tree for Every Child program, providing
native tree seedlings and planting resources to schools, camps, and children’s groups. It offers outdoor classroom grants to help build children’s learning gardens and outdoor teaching spaces. The ChariTree Foundation also produces environmental education resources, including The Wish Trees book and related teaching materials, and contributes to international climate and biodiversity education efforts as a United Nations Climate Observer Organization.
