Company Performance Metrics
The Bitty Kitty Brigade focuses on rescuing orphaned neonatal kittens and providing them with foster-based care from intake through adoption. The organization places kittens in volunteer foster homes where they receive bottle-feeding, weaning support, nutrition, and appropriate medical treatment until they are ready for adoption. It adopts out
kittens and adult cats under defined screening, interview, and home-visit procedures, including spay/neuter, microchipping, parasite treatment, and vaccinations prior to placement. The Bitty Kitty Brigade also offers structured processes for returning adopted animals that can no longer stay in their homes. Through its Birth Control Brigade team, it conducts trap-neuter-return services and community outreach to humanely manage community cat populations. The organization provides guidance on how to surrender kittens into its care and shares external educational resources for people caring for kittens or community cats on their own.
