Company Performance Metrics
The Arusha Centre is a collectively run, member-supported organisation that provides resources and initiatives on social justice and environmental issues. The Arusha Centre delivers community economic development programs such as Calgary Dollars, a complementary currency and grant system that supports local trade and grassroots projects. It
operates Repair Exchange Calgary, a series of free events where community members fix household items together to reduce waste and build repair skills. Through its climate action programming, the organisation convenes a climate action network, runs public education campaigns, and offers eco event services and rentals including pedal-powered generators, interactive games, and educational installations. The Arusha Centre also organizes Circular City events that combine repair spaces, vendor markets, workshops, and music to promote circular economy practices. Across these programs, it supports communities to connect, gather, and create socially, economically, and environmentally just futures.
