Ten Chimneys Foundation operates the historic estate of Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne as a museum and educational resource for theater and the arts. The organization preserves and interprets the estate through guided public tours that explore the main house, studio, cottage, gardens, and related buildings. It manages exhibitions and archives in the
Lunt-Fontanne Program Center, where visitors can view displays, film screenings, and a museum store. The foundation develops and delivers theater and arts education activities, including the Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship Program for regional theater actors, play readings, lectures, and outreach programs. It also coordinates group tours, seasonal events, and volunteer opportunities that support ongoing preservation and public access to the site.
