TDDS Technical School in Lake Milton, Ohio is designed for those who are interested in starting or enhancing a transportation career. All of the TDDS educational programs provide actual hands-on work experience, and are made as affordable as possible through numerous financial aid options.
TDDS offers a truck driver training program that begins
with the fundamentals of the trade. There is also a diesel mechanic course, which also provides beginning trainees with all of the necessary work skills.
For those who are already working in either of these industries and wish to enhance their skills, advanced skills courses are also available.
All TDDS students work on and with actual automotive equipment and tools, giving them the chance to perform the same exact activities they can expect to perform on the job.
As students get ready to go out into the workforce, TDDS will also provide job-placement assistance.
TDDS also awards financial aid to qualifying students through a variety of sources. In addition to loans and grants, TDDS honors such programs as veteran’s benefits, United Mineworkers of America and vocational rehabilitation assistance. Tuition payment plans are also available.
