Tamahar Trust provides assessment, therapeutic intervention, and educational programs for children with developmental disabilities caused by brain damage, including autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, rare diseases, and genetic disorders. The organization offers early intervention, nursery, functional academics, and prevocational and sheltered
workshop programs tailored to each child’s developmental age. Its trans-disciplinary services integrate occupational, speech, physiotherapy, vision, music, and yoga therapies, along with structured arts, sports, and recreational activities. Tamahar Trust also delivers family services such as caregiver training, mental health support, and practical strategies to build independence at home. In addition, it runs human resource development courses for future special educators and interventionists, research and advocacy initiatives, and an outreach project for underserved communities.
