Stichting Alexander is a Dutch NGO that focuses on youth participation in research, policy, and practice. It conducts qualitative and participatory research in which children, young people, and other stakeholders co-create questions, methods, and findings. The organization facilitates participation processes, such as youth panels and client
councils, to bring youth perspectives into decision-making. Stichting Alexander trains and coaches professionals on how to involve young people meaningfully in education, youth care, municipal policy, and health projects. It also designs and runs workshops, focus groups, and co-design sessions and develops practical tools like questionnaires and participatory video methods. In addition, it publishes project results and knowledge products that help organizations embed youth participation structurally in their work.
