STAR Council provides substance use services through outpatient treatment, prevention programs, and community-based initiatives. The organization offers adult and youth outpatient counseling to address the chronic and progressive nature of addiction and support recovery for individuals and families. It delivers prevention education in schools and
communities, implements youth prevention programs, and coordinates a community coalition focused on reducing alcohol and drug abuse. STAR Council also provides a substance abuse awareness course, links to self help groups, and referrals to additional resources. Its staff work with partner agencies and local stakeholders to promote substance-free lifestyles and improve access to behavioral health support.
