Sound & Buzz develops SoBu, a mobile and smartwatch application designed to make play activities accessible to children with visual impairments. The app provides multisensory games that use sounds, vibrations, and movement to guide children’s actions and create structured play experiences. It offers classic group games adapted for non-visual
interaction, supporting motor development, spatial perception, and interaction with peers. SoBu runs on Android and WearOS devices, with accessibility support such as screen reader compatibility. Families, educators, and clinical centers use the app to encourage inclusive play between sighted and non-sighted children. Sound & Buzz also engages in research translation and product refinement based on clinical and user feedback.
