Siblings Australia is a national organisation that provides support, education, advocacy and resources for siblings of children and adults with disability, chronic illness or mental health issues. The organisation offers direct support for siblings across age groups, programs that equip parents to better support their children, and training for
professionals in health, education and disability services. Siblings Australia develops and delivers structured programs such as SibWorks peer groups, SibWise online learning, SibAware practice frameworks, SibPlan planning tools, and SibSupport counselling and webinars. It undertakes systemic advocacy to increase recognition of siblings in policy and service design, and produces submissions to government and sector reviews. Siblings Australia also contributes to research on sibling experiences and family wellbeing and curates practical resources including guides, books and media recommendations.
