Company Performance Metrics
Shalom provides evidence-based prevention and education programs for children, adolescents, and families. The organization delivers K–12 school-based curricula that address alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use, bullying, violence, anger management, and decision making. Its elementary and middle school offerings use interactive activities such as
puppet shows, games, songs, and discussions to build self-esteem, social skills, and resistance to peer pressure. High school programs focus on life skills, relationship safety, leadership development, and prevention of substance use, impaired driving, and other risky behaviors. Shalom also facilitates small-group interventions like dating abuse prevention, girls’ circles, and youth leadership initiatives, and collaborates with schools through partner school arrangements. The organization supplements in-person work with virtual services, videos, and contests that reinforce prevention messages and skills practice.
