Safe Schools New Hampshire promotes student voice and leadership to make schools safer, healthier and more connected. The organization runs student-led conferences that bring together teens and educators to discuss mental health, student leadership and school issues, and to introduce new programs and practices. It offers internships that give
students experience planning events, leading peers and working on projects that affect school climate. Safe Schools New Hampshire also develops and manages mental health initiatives, including a multi-year pilot of school-centered virtual therapy in partnership with several school districts. Through these programs, it collaborates with schools and community partners to expand access to student support and peer programs. Its work centers on engaging students as partners in shaping safer and more supportive learning environments.
