Rough House Puppet Arts creates and presents puppetry-based performance for adult and youth audiences, including immersive haunted puppet houses, touring shows, and a recurring puppet cabaret. The organization curates multidisciplinary puppet installations under the House of the Exquisite Corpse banner and produces Nasty, Brutish & Short, a
short-form puppet and object theatre slam. Rough House Puppet Arts offers workshops, movement labs, and virtual classes that introduce puppetry techniques, devising, and storytelling to beginners and experienced artists. It also runs community programs such as Puppets in Progress and the Expansion Residency to support puppetry works-in-progress and artist development. Through these activities, Rough House Puppet Arts connects performers, designers, and audiences around contemporary puppet theatre.
