Remember The 400 Foundation is a nonprofit community organization that focuses on education, advocacy, and community relief related to the legacy of the Transatlantic slave trade. The foundation develops and delivers educational programs, youth initiatives, and historical awareness campaigns that highlight the experiences and contributions of
enslaved Africans and their descendants. It organizes rallies, youth-focused events, school presentations, seminars, and cultural activities to promote dialogue around racial inequality and social justice. The organization also coordinates food drives, back-to-school support, and other relief efforts that serve marginalized communities. A core initiative is the global campaign to designate August as Freedom Month, supported through petitions, public events, and partnerships across multiple chapters. Through these activities, Remember The 400 Foundation seeks to empower youth, strengthen communities, and support efforts to address systemic racism.
