Refuge International partners with local churches to support refugees and immigrants through education, mentoring, and legal assistance. The organization coordinates classroom-based ESL ministries, one-on-one English mentoring, and related volunteer roles such as teaching, childcare, registration, hospitality, and transportation. It develops and
runs programs like The Nations Next Door and summer internships that give participants hands-on ministry and missions experience among immigrant communities. Refuge International maintains a resource center and training events to equip volunteers and church members to serve immigrant neighbors. It is also developing a Department of Justice–accredited immigrant legal services center to offer low-cost immigration legal support.
