re:power provides political education, training, and strategic support to organizers, leaders, and organizations across progressive movements. The organization focuses on liberatory organizing, base building, and leadership development for Black, Indigenous, and people of color, especially women and trans and gender-expansive people of color. Its
core program areas include grassroots organizing, movement technology, electoral justice, governance support for newly elected officials, and women of color leadership cohorts. re:power also conducts movement-focused research, such as organizer needs surveys and environmental justice projects, and develops frameworks and tools for campaigns and community organizations. In addition, it partners with institutions and local governments to design custom trainings, train-the-trainer programs, and capacity-building initiatives that strengthen organizing strategy and skills over the long term.
