Company Performance Metrics
Railway Paths owns and manages former railway land, bridges, tunnels and other structures to provide public routes suitable for cycling, walking, horse riding and wheelchair use. The charity makes its land available through sale or lease to third parties, including the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust and local authorities, for the creation and management of
paths. Railway Paths generates income from its property portfolio and offers surplus land and buildings for purchase, lease or development. It undertakes estate survey and engineering management of its structures and collaborates with partners on restoration projects. The organisation also supports recreational facilities for the public and contributes to education on environmentally friendly transport, environmental protection and energy conservation.
