R-RIGHTS is a STEM equity research organization that examines how racism and other forms of marginalization shape experiences in engineering, computing, and related fields. The organization studies institutional, technical, social, and cultural factors that affect decision-making, career paths, and wellbeing for Black and other minoritized scholars
in STEM. R-RIGHTS publishes research, produces resources, and curates voices of Black STEM education researchers. It offers programs such as virtual coaching for Black doctoral students pursuing engineering and computer science faculty careers. The organization also engages in public scholarship and advocacy aimed at transforming STEM environments and advancing health and thriving throughout the STEM ecosystem.
