Founded in 2019 as an artisanal fishing operator in FAO Zone 34 (Mauritanian EEZ), Mauritania Octopus Export pivoted in late 2025 to direct B2B export of frozen octopus (Octopus vulgaris) to European importers and distributors in France, Spain, and Germany.
We supply IQF and Block frozen octopus in commercial sizes T1–T7, in 10 kg export cartons,
with a minimum order of one 20-foot reefer container (18–22 mt). All products are EU-compliant (CE 1224/2009), with full lot traceability from vessel to delivery.
Our key differentiator: MauriTrace — the first blockchain-anchored traceability system applied to Mauritanian octopus exports.
