LaxCoach AI provides an iOS application that uses artificial intelligence and motion tracking to analyze lacrosse shooting mechanics. The app lets players record shots on an iPhone or iPad and runs pose detection to track key joints throughout windup, release, and follow-through. It measures factors such as hip rotation, wrist snap, elbow height,
and follow-through, then benchmarks results against skill-tier standards. Players receive visual and written feedback that highlights specific mechanical issues to address. The platform is designed for men’s and women’s lacrosse players across youth, high school, and college levels, and can also be used by coaches to structure training and monitor progress. LaxCoach AI operates as a freemium product with optional in-app subscriptions and credits for additional analysis features.
