INFN8 VZN is a nonprofit that focuses on reversing mercury and heavy metal contamination from artisanal gold mining in Ghana. The organization designs and prepares mobile systems for concurrent remediation of poisoned water and contaminated soil, combining atmospheric water generation, borehole drilling, and industrial soil and water treatment
equipment. It develops and operates GalaSat, an AI-native satellite mapping framework that runs on Google Earth Engine to identify high-risk contamination zones and guide field deployment. INFN8 VZN also plans and delivers training for artisanal miners in mercury-free extraction methods, soil-free agriculture systems such as hydroponics, aeroponics, and aquaponics, and community water management practices. In addition, it runs education and school-support initiatives that aim to keep children out of mines by providing learning materials and related support. Its work integrates environmental technology, public health considerations, and community-based programs to support long-term restoration and safer livelihoods.
