Company Performance Metrics
Harrison McCain Foundation operates as a charitable grantmaking organization that supports a wide range of community-focused initiatives. It provides financial assistance to post-secondary educational institutions, mainly through scholarships and bursaries administered by partner schools. The foundation funds community organizations, health and
social-service organizations, and environmental initiatives, with a preference for locations where McCain Foods operations are based. It also invests in arts, culture, health, science and environmental projects that contribute to community well-being. Applications from qualifying organizations are accepted throughout the year and reviewed at set times, with specific requirements for project descriptions, budgets and reporting. The foundation does not fund individuals, research grants, primarily religious organizations, political activities, general events or sponsorships, endowments, broad capital campaigns or mass mailings.
