Hagerty Drivers Foundation is a nonprofit organization that advances automotive culture and heritage through preservation, education, and research programs. It administers the National Historic Vehicle Register, documenting historically significant vehicles for the Library of Congress and producing documentary films that capture their stories. The
foundation funds research on the environmental and economic impact of enthusiast vehicles and promotes thought leadership around the role of the automobile in society. It offers educational grants and scholarships to accredited institutions and 501(c)(3) organizations that train automotive restorers and craftsmen. Through its License to the Future program, it provides grants toward accredited driver education for young drivers. The foundation also supports partner organizations and special awards at automotive events to recognize preservation work and encourage the next generation of automotive professionals and enthusiasts.
