Since Gettysburg is only 90 minutes from Washington D.C., an hour from Baltimore and two hours from Philadelphia, students may easily experience the cities’
historic and cultural resources.
Student life on campus is engaging and eye-opening. Despite the small campus, students have access to a state-of-the-art music conservatory, professional performing arts center, science center, Garthwait Leadership Center and more.
Students can also join one of more than 120 student clubs and organizations or participate in many of the community service opportunities, from service learning courses to volunteering in local kitchens.
Academics include more than 60 programs in fields like Art and Art History, Film Studies, Mathematics and Peace and Justice Studies. The school also offers a four-year career preparation program, which often leads students to successful internships, externships and career opportunities.
Admissions require students to submit a Common Application, Gettysburg supplement, official high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores, a teacher recommendation and counselor recommendation.
Eligible students may receive institutional scholarships based on academic achievements and ACT/SAT scores. Students who file a FAFSA will also be considered for financial aid through state and federal grants and loans.
