Frog is governed by a flexible licensing model that gives free
of charge access to Wyplay technologies. Licensees can -but are not obliged to- contribute back their modifications, and redistribution of their derivatives is free for non-commercial purposes. Commercial deployment is subject to the terms of the Frog License Agreement, including a very competitive per-device royalty. Compared to traditional proprietary development, the Frog model ensures greater speed to market, a richer feature set, and lower costs.
Frog by Wyplay gathers Licensee companies representing the full spectrum of activities in the TV technology ecosystem: chipset vendors, devices manufacturers, services firms, solutions developers, system integrators and operators.
