Eesti Muuseumraudtee preserves and presents the history of Estonian narrow-gauge railways as a nonprofit museum. The organization maintains an outdoor collection of rolling stock including steam locomotives, freight and passenger cars, and related technical equipment. It operates an indoor exhibition of historical photographs, documents and
artefacts about industrial, military and regional railways. The museum runs a museum railway where visitors can ride steam trains and draisines according to seasonal timetables and special event schedules. It offers guided tours for groups, educational visits for schools and rental of premises for private events. Eesti Muuseumraudtee also sells models, books, games and souvenirs related to railway history through its museum shop.
