Student life at the school is a blend of professional training and personal enrichment. The campus often hosts talent shows, movie socials and other recreational activities to provide a
fun break from the classroom. Students who seek additional academic experiences will also be satisfied, as the school offers a wide variety of student clubs.
Student services include resume preparation through its partnership with OptimalResume, government job openings through USAJobs and access to a job-posting website unique to Capitol College.
Academics include undergraduate degrees in Astronautical Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Engineering and many more. Graduate programs are also offered in fields like Programming and Data Management and Web Programming.
Applications are available online at the Capitol College’s admissions website. Incoming students who apply by May 1 will be guaranteed housing if they choose to live on-campus. Returning students seeking on campus housing must reapply by April 15.
Financial aid is available to eligible students who complete a FAFSA application. Forms of aid include Pell grants, Supplemental Education Opportunity grants and the Maryland Part-Time grant, a need-based part-time grant. The school also offers many scholarships to qualifying students, like the Capitol Scholars Program, Richard J. Heiman Scholarship, Community College Scholarship and more.
