Black Moms Connection is a non-profit organization that provides financial support, education programs, and community resources for Black mothers and their families. The organization runs emergency funding programs such as an emergency grant fund and the BMC Rent Bank to help with basic needs and housing costs. It delivers financial literacy
education through FinLit U masterclass programs and related events focused on money management and navigating financial systems. Black Moms Connection also offers BizLit U programming for entrepreneurial mothers and wellness workshops and retreats through its You Okay Mama initiative. In addition, it maintains a large private online community and book club that give members space to share experiences, access peer support, and engage with culturally relevant content. The organization participates in advocacy and partnerships that support Black parenting and family well-being.
