Professional majors include such fields as Business Administration, Radio Broadcasting, Teacher-education and Engineering. There are also Pre-Professional degree programs like Pre-Medicine, Pre-Physical Therapy, Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Pre-Optometry.

Since Biola is a Christian school, all subjects are taught from a Biblical perspective. Also, a large part of the student culture revolves around religious activities such as chapel services and campus ministry. Biola also hosts Biblical and Missions conferences throughout the year.

Student life at Biola is a thriving mixture of other activities as well. There are student cultural clubs, a campus art gallery, student theatre and music performances and choral ensembles.

Also, since Biola is within an hour of Los Angeles and close to the Southern California coastline, students may experience the richness of the city as well as the tranquil beauty of the beaches.

In order to gain admittance to Biola, students must submit transcripts and SAT scores. They also must submit a reference letter from their church minister or pastor and be committed to the Christian faith.
