Basildon Side By Side is a community interest organisation that coordinates thematic programmes in education, health and wellbeing, policing and hate crime, community cohesion, economic development and youth engagement. It operates through working groups that design and deliver seminars, workshops, health checks, skills acquisition sessions, and
cultural activities. The organisation provides platforms for dialogue between communities and public bodies, including police and local agencies, to address crime, hate incidents and representation. It runs projects that support learning recovery, leadership pathways, employment skills and work experience for young people. Basildon Side By Side also organises events and collaborative initiatives that promote social inclusion, participation and local problem-solving across diverse communities.
