Ashton Advisors is the independent advisory practice of Brandon Ashton Stein, a Houston-based principal with twenty years of work at the intersection of strategy and software.
Ashton serves tech-enabled businesses across energy, software, finance, and professional services on strategy, operations, customer, and software M&A. Engagements are

Recent work has included enterprise AI use-case roadmaps for clean-tech operators, post-asset transition GTM playbooks for PE-backed software portfolios, multi-year Salesforce strategy for regulated utilities, customer-success leadership for healthcare nonprofits, and fractional CXO roles inside power-utility transformations and PE / M&A advisory firms.
Brandon was previously a Director at MRE Consulting, with prior roles at Acrisure (Head of Agency Partner Success), Salesforce (3+ years), and Deloitte Consulting. He holds an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.
