For more than two decades, Lee has developed and implemented advertising, marketing, cause-branding and public relations campaigns for startups and large companies across a wide range of industries – from healthcare and consumer electronics to new media and publishing. As an independent consultant, he helped define and execute strategic communications programs for companies like The NPD Group, National Athletic Trainers’ Association, and The Boston Consulting Group.
Prior to starting his own communications consulting practice in 2000, Lee was account director for the New York-based practice of Cone, Inc. While working under Carol Cone and Jens Bang, he led highly successful public relations campaigns for Sony/BMG, iVillage, and the National Retail Federation (NRF). Before joining Cone, he was director of PR at David Kratz & Co., supervising trade and consumer public-relations campaigns for CondeNast’s Epicurious, IAC/Citysearch New York, CareerPath and The Industry Standard magazine.
Earlier, Lee managed advertising campaigns while working for Saatchi & Saatchi and Anderson & Lembke Advertsing. Former clients include Solomon Skis, Allegro Resorts, Ingersoll-Rand, Altec-Lansing, Computer Associates, SAP and IBM.
