Microsoft SkyDrive

SkyDrive is a password-protected online file storage provided by Microsoft. Users sign in to SkyDrive by using their Windows Live IDs. For each user, Microsoft provides 25 GB of free online storage. In SkyDrive, users can create personal, shared, and public folders and they can decide who can access to each folder.

When users create a shared folder, their friends need to sign in with their own Windows Live IDs and passwords. Users can specify how much control they want to share with their friends, so some can just read what’s there, and others can add and delete files.

Windows Live SkyDrive works on any Windows or Macintosh computer with Firefox 1.5 or higher, or Internet Explorer 6 or higher.
