Wakanda is an open-source platform for developing business web & mobile applications developed by 4D, Inc. It has a unified stack running on JavaScript from end-to-end including a NoSQL Object datastore engine, also known as WakandaDB.

The Wakanda Server is a NoSQL Web Object datastore integrating a Server-Side JavaScript implementation which support the CommonJS module specification for cross-platform compatibility. It supports natively HTTP and can be used as an application server.
The Wakanda Studio integrates a full set of tools as a Data Model Designer, a GUI Designer, a Code editor, a User & Group manager, etc.
The Wakanda Framework consists of a data provider to communicate with the Server, interface widgets for the browser-based front-end, and a datasource layer that comes in between.
